About Durand E-Bikes
Welcome to Bike E-Bike Plus, where nature, adventure, and good vibes come together! We’re Kate and Terry Hartung (aka Junebug), a fun-loving couple with a passion for the outdoors, new experiences, and meeting awesome people.
Online booking ensures we’re ready for you when you arrive. With only 6 bikes available, reservations guarantee availability and help us manage our schedule. It also speeds up the process—waivers and payments are handled ahead of time, so when you arrive, all that’s left is a quick tutorial and you're off to ride. It makes everything easier for everyone!
Walk-ins are welcome if bikes and staff are available, but we can’t guarantee it. Online reservations are the best way to secure your spot.
We proudly use the Aventon Sinch.2, a foldable, fat-tire e-bike that’s both comfortable and beginner-friendly. It’s stable, easy to ride, and performs great on trails and pavement alike. We chose it for its smooth ride, versatility, and all-around fun factor—perfect for exploring Western Wisconsin at your own pace.
Depending on assist level, terrain, and rider weight, the battery typically lasts 40–55 miles per charge. We do have extra batteries for the extra adventurous. Plenty of range for a day of adventure!
Just bring yourself and your sense of adventure! Helmets, locks and bike bags are included. Feel free to bring water, snacks, or a small backpack if you'd like.
We welcome riders of all ages, but all participants must be able to safely ride a standard bicycle and those under 18 will need a parent or guardian along for the ride. For safety reasons, riders should be at least 5’0” tall. The Aventon Sinch.2 has a weight limit of approximately 300 pounds.
We’ll suggest scenic self-guided routes tailored to your interests—ride along the river, through rolling countryside, or into town for lunch. It’s your ride, your way.
